FOREWORD
The
following represents a small portion of
my spiritually (Urantia oriented) writings
in the early `90's. The first section, "A
Urantian View"
is comprised mainly of my editorials, which
have appeared in The Monitor. This is a publication
of the First Society of Los Angeles for Urantia
Book readers (FSLA). Also included is, "The
Mission Of Mirth" which contains the
notes from a talk given to FSLA on May 2,
1993.
The
second section, "A Urantian Voice"
contains poetry, prose and a little piece of
fiction I wrote called, "The Secret of
the Unicorn" which incorporates much Urantia
Book philosophy in its storyline. "The
Secret" was rewritten for a delightfully
charming 18 year old named Sharon who I hope
grows to appreciate and understand it. "Mac
& Me" on the other hand, was written
to poke some fun at a few of those who take
themselves a little too seriously in the Urantia
Move-ment.
I
have always been curious as to how many subscribers
to The Monitor actually read my work. I would
suppose the sales of this small collection would
most accur-ately tell me. Fortunately, I'm giving
it away on the web so I guess I'll never know.
All
of the work herein comes from the Spirit and
not from me...at least I think so.

The
reason I believe this is that all of these writings
flowed out smooth and other literary endeavors
on my part have always suffered `writer's block'
of indeterminate duration.
I
hope this collection does not bore you too much
as, in spite of the free flowing method it was
written in, took several years to produce. I
thank you for your patience and perseverance
in wading through this, my attempt at some vague
spiritual posterity. It is my hope that the
contents will be interesting to those who have
never been exposed to The Urantia Book as well
as those who have.

I
trust this small effort will stimulate an interest
in the supernal teach-ings of the Book and generate
enough curiosity to actually cause these neophytes
to purchase of a copy so they might better under-stand
their Father, the Universe and their place in
it along with this publication as well.
As
to those who actually find themselves enjoying
my ramblings, I recommend extensive shock
ther-apy along with a conscientiously applied
program of oral hygiene and regular professional
care.

Note: The following is just to unruffle some
feathers some of the contents of this site might
gen-erate. All writings contained herein were
written prior to 1994. Most of the controversial
issues mentioned herein have been resolved. The
Urantia Book itself is now public domain and available
everywhere.
Beyond
this, I hope you will enjoy at least some of the
content. I did the best I could to proofread and
check the grammar and spelling, but I've never
really been good at that. Please forgive the more
blatant goofs.
Also,
if you have any comments, suggestions or input
on the content please keep it to yourself. I created
this unidentified site as an ego exercise and
was confirmed ment-ally unbalanced years ago.
